Responsibilities
- Perform daily operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-purity online chemical analyzers, water quality monitoring systems, and related instrumentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, calibration, and field service of monitoring equipment at semiconductor customer sites.
- Follow standardized procedures for chemical reagent preparation, mixing, handling, and equipment support.
- Maintain accurate technical logs, maintenance records, calibration reports, chemical usage records, and service documentation.
- Aid in identifying equipment issues, troubleshooting system performance, and coordinating technical solutions with internal engineering teams.
- Communicate professionally with customer site contacts, internal technical teams, and overseas engineering support teams.
- Support semiconductor facility operations in subfab or industrial environments, including walking jobsite areas and wearing required PPE.
- Follow all site-specific safety requirements, including chemical handling, PPE, steel-toe footwear, and customer safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes, technical procedures, and customer service standards.
- Perform additional technical service and field support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or a related technical field preferred.
- Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant technical field experience may also be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in field service, analytical instrumentation, gas analyzers, water quality systems, semiconductor facilities, petrochemical, oil & gas, or related technical environments preferred.
- Experience with online analyzers, chemical analysis equipment, LC systems, mass spectrometry, or related instrumentation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor, high-purity water, gas systems, petrochemical, or advanced manufacturing environments preferred.
- Mandarin-English bilingual ability is highly preferred for communication with Taiwan-based technical teams.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not already certified.
- Comfortable working in industrial customer-site environments, including subfab/facility areas with required PPE.
- Able to stand, walk, and move around industrial facilities for extended periods.
- Able to safely lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Professional, dependable, presentable to customers, and able to work independently with good judgment.
- Open to Taiwan-based technical training.
