The Field Airborne Support Team AMT IV A&P role requires 100% travel and involves remote work. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Available on an on-call basis, capable of being on-site or dispatched within two hours of the initial contact from Gulfstream.
  • Communicate effectively with the customer, scheduling, FAST flight crews, Tech Ops, business office, vendors, Warranty, Field Service Representatives, and Hangar Ops.
  • Act as the single point of contact between Gulfstream and the customer to relay aircraft schedule and return-to-service expectations.
  • Perform required AOG maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Work independently and consistently to perform assigned maintenance and avionics tasks within quoted or standard CMP time with little or no supervision.
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
  • Cover inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the customer and provide one-on-one direct familiarization briefings with the customer during the road trip.
  • Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
  • Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and installations of major components.
  • Order and receive all tooling and materials needed to service the AOG aircraft.
  • Arrange the shipment of all core units and tooling back to Gulfstream.
  • Identify required advanced troubleshooting techniques for all model aircraft with assistance from Tech Ops.
  • Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $42.50 - $46.47. Final compensation will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Schedule

The shift is First.
