Field Agent

About the role

As a Field Insurance Agent, you operate as an independent contractor, giving you full control over when and how you work. You will meet with clients in the field, build relationships in your community, and guide individuals and families through important insurance decisions. You set your schedule, manage your activity, and directly influence your income based on your performance.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess insurance needs
• Explain coverage options and recommend appropriate policies
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community outreach
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Aid clients with applications and underwriting requirements
• Deliver policies and provide ongoing support and follow-up
• Maintain accurate client records and communication
• Work independently and manage your own schedule and workload

Requirements

• Active insurance license required

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of insurance, sales, or customer service experience
• Self-motivated, professional, and dependable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Goal-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Organized and comfortable managing your own schedule
• Open to coaching, feedback, and continuous learning
