Field Admissions Representative - Salt Lake City, UT

About the role

As a Field Admissions Representative, you’ll interact with a diverse range of individuals, helping them achieve their educational and career goals. This dynamic and exciting role offers flexibility to manage your own schedule and work independently while traveling within your designated territory (a 120-mile radius of Salt Lake City, UT). You’ll recruit passionate and motivated students for Universal Technical Institute by building awareness of its programs, particularly in local high schools.

This is a remote position, but you must currently live in and travel throughout the Salt Lake City, UT area.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
• Represent UTI and its programs at in-person high school presentations and offsite events.
• Conduct informative and professional in-home interviews using technical knowledge and skills.
• Maintain a CRM database for thorough follow-up with potential students.
• Deliver public speaking presentations to educators at high schools and other institutions to encourage student enrollment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UTI programs, financing options, and other key information to answer prospective student questions.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment goals through effective outreach and recruitment efforts.
• Adhere to all compliance criteria and procedures established by external regulatory bodies and UTI.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Public speaking experience preferred.
• Industry knowledge preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and sales skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to analyze and report data.
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build effective relationships, work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a customer-service attitude.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing your territory effectively.

• Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
