Growth and ideas that simplify progress. Sartorius offers a remote-based opportunity (residing in the Seattle area) for a Field Account Manager supporting the Pacific Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through proactive sales of the Lab Essentials portfolio within the assigned territory (Lab Weighing, Lab Water, Liquid Handling, Microbiology & Filtration)
- Manage all sales results for mid-size and large accounts in the California Bay Area in line with organizational strategy
- Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with market and growth objectives
- Build, manage, and sustain strong customer relationships to enable long-term partnerships
- Actively use Salesforce (SFDC) to manage leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities with accurate and up-to-date data
- Analyze SFDC data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance
- Develop and execute account plans, coordinating internal resources and cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence and account success
- Promote newly launched products and services and follow up on the effective implementation of sales activities
- Absess customer needs, respond to inquiries, and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Cooordinat and participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory
- Regularly evaluate customer potential and translate it into sustainable business results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering; advanced education is an advantage
- At least 3 years of field sales experience, preferably within laboratory or process-based life science environments
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM systems, with proactive daily usage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with a results-oriented mindset
- High level of self-motivation, independence, and sense of responsibility
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the territory

Qualifications
- Salary range: $95,000–$120,000 (based on experience), plus a sales incentive plan, and car allowance.
