Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administration of fiduciary, receivership, trustee, and ABC matters.
- Maintain accurate workflows, milestones, deadlines, and reporting schedules in MyCase.
- Cook up identification, securing, and preservation of assets, including on-site work.
- Interfere with property managers, vendors, financial institutions, insurers, and IT providers.
- Assist with fiduciary reports, accountings, budgets, and expense tracking.
- Preserve physical and digital records and maintain audit-ready files.
- Serve as a primary operational point of contact for fiduciary matters.
- Support compliance with court orders, statutory duties, and ethical requirements.
- Aid in managing digital evidence, electronic devices, cloud accounts, or data sources.
- Troubleshoot or coordinate solutions for minor technology issues related to case assets or document management.
- Draft correspondence, notices, and routine filings; coordinate document execution.
- Maintain professional, timely, and clear communication with courts, beneficiaries, debtors, creditors, or other parties as required.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to the attorney and fiduciary team, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth operations.
- Support case opening and closing procedures, document collection, and audit preparedness.
- Support compliance with fiduciary duties, firm procedures, and ethical requirements, ensuring meticulous recordkeeping throughout each case.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting fiduciary, receivership, trustee, or insolvency matters.
- Experience with asset oversight, reporting, and compliance.
- Comfortable with field work, sensitive stakeholder interactions, and independent decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and deadline-tracking skills.
- Skilled with technology, including case management systems, cloud tools, handling electronic records and/or digital assets, and coordinating IT vendors.
- Candidates with experience working alongside NABT, NAFER, or CRA members are strongly encouraged to apply.
- A Spanish speaker is a plus.
