Fiber Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable Technician to support fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities.
Responsibilities
- Support fiber audit activities, including verification and validation of infrastructure
- Assist in troubleshooting, identifying connectivity and configuration issues
- Validate inventory, connectivity, and documentation accuracy across network assets
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve discrepancies
- Document findings and provide clear audit reports and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong understanding of EDP / technical design documentation
- Knowledge of telecom / network infrastructure concepts
- Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting (Layer 1)
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Experience with telecom, ISP, or enterprise network environments
- Familiarity with fiber and copper infrastructure

Schedule
- Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule
- During site turn-ups: 10-hour days, 6 days per week
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
