Fiber optic fitter

About the role

Conduct house inspections to determine where our network components are located. Respond to customer inquiries regarding planned construction work inside and outside the building. Technical documentation of inspections in our systems. Carry out house introductions, surface restoration of the building and minor construction works in the NE3 area.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of the network components (HÜP, GFTA, ONT) in the building
• Blows, splices, patches fiber optic cables and activates the connection
• Conduct OTDR and attenuation measurements
• Creation of documentation and delivery in our systems

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in the field of telecommunications, radio and television engineering, electrical engineering or similar field
• Professional experience in assembling cable networks and splicing fiber optic cables
• NE3 experience – from PoP/HVT to the building/customer basement
• Team player with a high service orientation and a careful and responsible way of working
• Routine in handling technical equipment to create house connections and register recorded data
• Driving license class B and willingness to travel
• Knowledge of NE4 expansion is advantageous
