Fiber/CO2 Laser Machinist & CAD/CAM Programmer

About the role

Fiber/CO2 Laser Machinist & CAD/CAM Programmer is needed to operate laser machines and program CNC systems. The position involves setting up and operating fiber and CO2 lasers to cut, weld, and engrave materials. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for programming and modifying CAD/CAM software to optimize machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate fiber and CO2 lasers to cut, weld, and engrave various materials
• Program and modify CAD/CAM software to optimize machining processes
• Set up and maintain laser equipment and CNC systems
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
• Keep abreast of new technologies and techniques in laser cutting and programming

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in laser cutting or related field
• Proficiency in using fiber and CO2 lasers
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting
