This position is with the Preferred Center for Children and Families in Brick, Route 88, as a Fee‑For‑Service Therapist. You will work with children and families, providing trauma‑informed care in a collaborative environment that offers excellent training opportunities and room for growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, formulate diagnosis and preliminary treatment plan; diagnosis congruent with assessment content.
• Assessments thoroughly completed in compliance with organization policy.
• Written assessments include mental status examination, provisional multi‑axial diagnosis, and preliminary treatment plan with recommendations for ongoing treatment.
• Preliminary treatment plan addresses immediate, emergent needs of the client; recommendations include identification of special treatment needs or referral of high‑risk clients.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy to assigned caseload.
• Progress notes address treatment goals and objectives and changes in mental health status.
• Medical record contains progress notes within 24 hours for each face‑to‑face contact, telephone call, and collateral contact.
• Provide case management.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or mental health counseling.
• Clinical licensure as LAC and LSW with 2 years of related experience.
• LCSW and LPC with 2 years of experience working with children.
• Substance Abuse certification (preferred).
• Trauma certification (preferred).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred).

Pay

Starting rate $41.90/$51.50 depending on licensure. Rate increases $10.00 per session for over 10 clients per pay period.
