What You’ll Be Doing

• perform all tasks associated with basic firefighting, driving and operating emergency vehicles which include carrying hose and connecting to water supplies;
• setting up and climbing ladders;
• knowledge of fire pumps, fire service hydraulics, safe driving practices, pump operations, applying water and chemical streams;
• ventilating buildings;
• participating in salvage operations;
• performing rescue duties on the fire ground and accident scene.

City Of Celina Employee Benefits

• Four day work week for most positions!
• Vacation 80 hours per year up to the completion of 5 years of service
• 120 hours per year up to the completion of 10 years of service
• 160 hours per year from 11 years of service forward

• Sick Leave: Accrues at the rate of one day per continuous month of service for full-time employees for a total of twelve (12) days per year. Can be taken after six months of employment.
