Fence Installer
About the role
Join a dynamic team of industry specialists trained to understand the security, accessibility, and image requirements of our customers. As a Fence Installer, you will prepare jobsites and use hand and power tools to install and remove all types of fences according to specification requirements. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that operates in various weather conditions. Complete training will be provided to the successful candidate.
As a field employee, you are the face of the company and are relied upon to maintain professionalism and focus on customer service, even under tight deadlines and strict security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Safely set up and take down temporary fencing and associated products at customer sites
- Complete operational paperwork (JHA reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.) as directed
- Take direction from Lead Fence Technician/Operations Manager
- Assist in navigating to sites to ensure the crew arrives safely and efficiently
- Work in a safe and productive manner, remaining constantly aware of site safety
- Ensure workplaces and company vehicles are clean and free of garbage and hazards
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with fellow employees and customers
Requirements
- Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washers, post driver, banding equipment, etc.)
- Ability to physically handle (lift, carry, etc.) heavy fence panels (approx. 50-80 lbs.)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions while performing heavy labor
- Must have transportation to get to job sites each day
- Experience operating a forklift and a one-ton truck preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to take direction and supervision
- Motivation to “get the job done” even when managing a heavy workload and tight deadlines
- Ability to accurately and thoroughly complete paperwork
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Pay
Base pay range: $21.84 - $31.39 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.
