Fence Installer

About the role

Seegars Fence is seeking a smart and motivated individual to install various types of fences for residential, commercial, or industrial properties. We will provide training and feedback to help you become a safe and efficient fence installer. Seegars Fence Co. installers are the best in the business, and we want you to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Install fences according to client specifications and project requirements.
• Work with a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, post hole diggers, levels, and measuring devices; operate these tools safely and efficiently.
• Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain First Aid, CPR, safety, forklift, and Bobcat certifications (training provided).
• Listen to and understand the customer’s needs and clearly communicate with the customer and project management team.
• Assist in maintaining a crew truck and all associated tools and equipment.
• Anticipate customer needs and job complications; be proactive to prevent or reduce adverse effects.
• Install all types of fences offered by Seegars Fence Co.
• Accurately read a tape measure and a level.
• Dress appropriately in SFC uniform or T-shirt.
• Avoid smoking in front of customers, especially residential customers with children.
• Avoid using profanity in the presence of customers (preferably anyone).
• Arrive to work on time, prepared to start immediately.
