Fence Driver - ROS

About the Role

As a Fence Installation Driver at Reliable Onsite Services, you will deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. You will provide exceptional customer service and maintain an open line of communication with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Safely operate a fencing truck daily, ensure proper load securement
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
• Perform pre-use and post-use inspections on fence installation tools
• Ensure truck is loaded with necessary equipment/materials and restock as needed
• Meet with customers to review fencing projects and follow up as required
• Prepare job sites for fence installation
• Set fence poles, install fence, and pull fence to customer specifications
• Coordinate and inspect the work of the Fence Installation Associate
• Train Fence Installation Associate on safety protocols and proper installation techniques
• Repair temporary fencing units at job sites as requested
• Provide onsite moves and pick-up/delivery of fencing
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading and moving equipment/materials
• Assist with other Reliable OnSite Services rental equipment offerings as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• 1 year of truck driving experience (CDL preferred)
• DOT medical card required prior to employment
• 2 years of fencing and/or construction industry experience preferred
• Diligent attention to safety and knowledge of safe driving procedures
• Ability to understand utility markings and follow underground utility safety requirements
• Ability to operate a forklift (training provided)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift, move, push, pull, twist, and turn items up to 45 pounds and more with assistance
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and customer environments
• Some weekend work may be required
