AE Home Care is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dependable Caregivers for a male quadriplegic client requiring specialized care.
About the role
- Peri-care
- Bowel program/training as needed
- Repositioning every 2 hours
- Medication reminders
- Homemaking duties
- Meal preparations
- Light housekeeping
- Provide safety and transportation
- Mobility assistance using Hoyer lifts
- Respond quickly to emergencies
- Respite care
Client has a German Shepherd; applicants must be comfortable working in a home with a dog.
Schedule
- 1–3 days per week, PRN as needed
- Shifts available:
- 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Shift length: 12 hours
Pay
$20.00 to $23.00 per hour
Requirements
- Right to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- Auto insurance
- Criminal background check
- Flexibility to accommodate weekends
- Hoyer lift experience strongly recommended
- Ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision
- Negative TB skin test
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Professional appearance with clean attire
- 3 verifiable work references
- Reliable transportation
CNA preferred; experience with complex care is strongly recommended.
