Fellowship Trained Breast Surgeon

Job Summary

The health system is committed to attracting and retaining the very best professionals for every position. This position diagnoses and treats patients with breast disease including surgical and medical management. It coordinates care with referring physicians and collaborates with other providers.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD and completion of General Surgery Residency
• Fellowship training or specialized practice focus in breast disease
• Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine
• A member of the St. Tammany Health System Medical Staff
• Board Certification in General Surgery
• Ability to collaborate with and supervise advanced practice providers

Physical Demands

• Must possess good physical health
• Standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time
• Lifting at least 20 pounds required
• Moderate level of noise
