About the role

The Nurse Practitioner (NPs) specialist is a participant in a 12-month paid fellowship designed for newly (18 months or less) certified and licensed NPs. The Fellowship program is structured to provide mentored clinical time and dedicated learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Gain broad exposure to primary and integrated mental health care. - Engage in skills training, didactic seminars, supervised and independent clinical practice. - Interact in interprofessional education and collaboration. - Participate in professional development activities. - Enhance leadership skills.

Requirements

This one-year fellowship is full-time employment as a trainee within UNMC and is designed for NP graduates who aspire to practice in rural and underserved areas of Nebraska.
