Responsibilities
- Monitor feed sampling processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely completion of all feed mill documentation, records, and operational reports.
- Verify and reconcile feed delivery tickets and related documentation to ensure accuracy and proper recordkeeping.
- Serve as a backup Panel Operator as needed to maintain continuous mill operations during absences or staffing shortages.
- Provide training and create a positive work environment to help employees reach their highest potential in quality and productivity.
- Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee employee performance and offer constructive feedback, both positive and corrective.
- Encourage open communication and employee involvement to build team morale and support company values.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost savings, and process enhancements.
- Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Available to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Live Operations team.
Requirements
- Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal. Quick learner of Company protocols/programs and adaptable to change. Reliable and ethical, with a strong work ethic and punctuality. Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Qualifications
- Available to work Monday – Friday with occasional weekends; (ability to work various shifts).
