Feed Mill Receiving Clerk - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Feed Mill Receiving Clerk on the 2nd shift in Harrisonburg, VA, you will:

• Unload corn trains (75–150 cars per week)
• Unload other rail cars (20–50 cars per week)
• Unload bulk-ingredient trucks (~20 trucks per week)
• Unload bag-ingredient trucks
• Load out corn trucks
• Print receiving and load-out scale tickets
• Maintain the corn re-claim system
• Clean receiving areas and other mill areas
• Fill in across the mill as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• Able to work well with others and without direct supervision
• Able to work in a dusty environment
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Dependable and punctual
• Excellent attendance, safety, and work record
• Ability to operate machinery, including a train locomotive

Schedule

Monday–Friday with some weekend work required; 2nd shift: 2:30 pm–10:30 pm

Pay

Base hourly rate of $21.75 plus a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Perfect-attendance incentive of $2.00 extra per hour.
