Feed Mill Operator (FULL TIME) - Gordon, NE

About the role

The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the feed mill equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality animal feed. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards, teamwork, and attention to detail to meet production goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust feed mill equipment to produce feed according to specifications
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure feed meets standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and report mechanical or operational problems

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in feed mill operations, manufacturing, or a similar environment is not required but a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and noise
