Feed Mill Dispatcher FM04 1st Shift/ (Monday-Friday: 5:30am-3:30pm.)/Full Time/ Feed Mill, Humboldt ,TN

This position involves receiving orders, loading and dispatching trucks, and maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document orders
• Schedule and dispatch loads of feed while adhering to DOT rules and regulations
• Create, organize, and maintain feed tickets for record keeping
• Distribute loads evenly among drivers and team members
• Answer calls from service techs and growers while maintaining positive working relationships
• Organize tasks and adjust priorities throughout the day
• Maintain good housekeeping in service areas
• Communicate with all levels of operations, customers, and vendors both orally and in writing
• Follow and operate within Tyson health and safety protocols
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Stand, sit, walk, climb ladders/stairs, and sustain physical activity throughout the day
• Sign and abide by Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including avoiding any avian species
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• 3 months of operator experience (can be a combination of employers)
• 180-day wait period from last termination date
• Candidates cannot have worked for Tyson three times previously (3X rule)
• Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions (very cold to very hot and humid)
• Must be able to work in dusty, hot, dry, wet, and cold environments
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours based on demand
• Must be able to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
• Must be able to read and write to document orders
• Must be clean-shaven where applicable for respirator certification
• Must achieve and maintain PIT Certification and Weigh Master certification

Qualifications

• 1 year of feed mill experience preferred
• Basic math, communication, mechanical, and computer skills

Pay

$22.05 per hour

Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–3:30 PM
