About the role
Making Opportunity Count (MOC) is seeking fee-for-service clinicians to provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health care to children, adults, couples, families, and groups. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient behavioral health counseling through individual, family, couples, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based practices.
- Serve diverse client populations, including children and adults, according to your competencies and assigned caseload.
- Deliver telehealth services from a private, professional setting and maintain the technology needed for secure virtual care.
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation within required timeframes to support quality care, compliance, and billing.
- Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary teams on interventions, consultations, client needs, crisis response, and positive outcomes.
- Participate, as applicable, in clinical supervision, peer consultation, utilization review, quality assurance, training, and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow all ethical standards, licensing and supervision requirements, accreditation standards, privacy obligations, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- A master’s or doctoral degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related clinical field.
- Knowledge of a range of clinical presentations and experience serving diverse client populations.
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Comfort providing telehealth services and using an electronic health record.
- Scheduling flexibility sufficient to meet client demand and participate in necessary consultation, supervision, and interdisciplinary activities.
- Ability to provide services legally and ethically to Massachusetts-based clients, including maintaining any authorization required in Massachusetts and in the jurisdiction from which you practice.
Qualifications
- Independent Licensed Clinician: Current Massachusetts independent clinical licensure in an eligible discipline, such as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- Supervised Master’s Level Clinician: Actively pursuing independent Massachusetts licensure and maintaining timely progress toward required supervised clinical hours, supervision, examinations, and all other requirements of the applicable licensing board.

Pay
- Supervised Master’s Level Clinician: $42.00–$43.00/hour
- Licensed: $45.00–$46.00/hour
Schedule
- This position may be performed remotely, but all assigned clients will be based in Massachusetts.
- Remote clinicians must maintain a confidential workspace, reliable internet access, and appropriate technology for secure telehealth services.
- The role regularly involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods and may require lifting up to 15 pounds.
