Job Summary
The restaurant is seeking a creative and motivated Pizza Supervisor to enhance culinary skills and grow with the company.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Successful culinary production operation under the direction of the Executive Chef
- Opportunity to serve as the kitchen head for culinary operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Stay up-to-date on dining trends and new techniques
- Ensure all products are prepared consistently and meet departmental appearance and quality standards
- Manage areas of profit, stock, waste control, and training within the kitchen
- Aid in the onboarding of Back-of-House (BOH) employees
- Work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and demanding environment while maintaining professionalism
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards, including local and government regulations
- Work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1+ years of Food and Beverage (F&B) industry and culinary experience in a similar role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (a strong plus)
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
- Effective communicator with a positive attitude and team player mentality
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness, and results
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent knowledge of Back-of-House (BOH) systems, ordering, and inventory
