Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development and design team to build and enhance website functionality.
- Aid in designing responsive and user-friendly web pages.
- Implement front-end and back-end development solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
- Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve website functionality and user experience.
- Support SEO optimization efforts to improve search rankings.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Design and develop UI/UX elements that enhance the user experience.
- Work with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) to update website content.
- Debug and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring seamless performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align website updates with business goals.
- Assist in integrating third-party tools, plugins, and APIs.
- Document development processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
General Qualifications
- Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need;
- Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status;
- Maintain a minimum of 1 credit hour of enrollment in eligible courses;
- OR Be enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit hour in the upcoming term.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and website design best practices.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.
