Federal Work Study- Nursing Tutor

Duties and Principal Responsibilities

• Work with Department Chairperson to provide tutoring and support to nursing students in a one on one or small group setting.

Education Requirements

• NLIU student enrolled in an active degree program.
• Must be a Nursing Student, Senior Year.

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience

• Academic Strength required in Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and Fundamentals.

Pay and Benefits

• Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $20 HR
• Period of employment: Begin Date: 2026 End Date: TBD

Evaluation Procedures and Schedules

• Guidance and support provided to FWS Tutor by the Department Chair.
• Schedule to be set up by the student typically 2 days a week approximately 7-8-hours a week.
