Federal Work Study

Job Responsibilities

• Students are hired based on financial need and availability of positions.
• Eligible students may work an average of 8 to 20 hours per week.
• The Office of Student Financial Assistance's staff does not select Work-Study students for other areas of employment.
• The supervisor reviews applications and selects up to three applicants for interviews.
• After interviews, the supervisor selects one replacement and the Office of Financial Assistance handles the paperwork for the student to start work.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Must be a current student of Northeastern Technical College.
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed a FAFSA application for the current school year.
