Magnit Global is located within 50 miles of Black & Veatch offices in Overland Park, KS, Denver, CO, or Arlington, VA. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead communication designs and coordinate with other disciplines
- Create conceptual and detailed systems designs, including producing design drawings, specifications, and design analysis deliverables
- Coordinate with a BIM/CAD team for drawing production
- Perform quality control duties and independent technical reviews
- Manage assigned budgets, scopes, and schedules
- Mentor and provide guidance/instruction to less experienced staff members
- May perform fieldwork and write assessment reports
- May assist with creation of design guides and templates
- May provide support to business development or pursuit activities
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, BICSI industry standards, codes, and best practices related to ICT, low voltage, and telecommunications systems
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems from a safety and constructability perspective
- Experience in outside plant (OSP) design of copper and fiber optic communication systems
- Experience in audio-visual (AV) system design
- 4+ years of experience designing applicable telecommunication systems
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification (required)
- Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) certification (preferred)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $43.27/hour - $57.69/hour.
