Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead and execute the sales strategy for engaging with key federal government with a focus on Civilian agencies and other U.S. federal agencies.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic account management, relationship building, and solution selling.
- Channel Management, Government Contracts and Procurement: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of federal and procurement and acquisition processes including key channel partners – both resellers and distributors. Navigate government contracts (including GSA schedules) and work with internal teams to develop competitive proposals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in federal agencies. Act as the company’s primary point of contact for existing and potential customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Become a subject matter expert on Leads Online's SAAS solutions, particularly those that assist law enforcement in crime-solving tasks with our core LeadsOnline platform analytical data collection.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans for key federal and state government clients. Drive long-term business opportunities and maximize revenue growth from both new and existing accounts.
- Management & Collaboration: Operate as a Player/Coach while building the Federal Team. Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client needs and align with public safety goals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with federal government policies, trends in public safety technology, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant sales & sales management experience in federal and state government sales, with a focus on law enforcement SaaS sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven track record of success in federal and state government sales within the law enforcement or public safety technology sector.
- Deep knowledge of procurement processes in federal agencies and the partner community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on consultative selling and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware products related to crime-solving, analytics, and public safety.
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies and a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of law enforcement technology with a focus on crime-solving analytics, and data collection tools.
- Familiarity with federal contracting vehicles such as GSA schedules, and knowledge of state procurement processes.
- Experience in managing large sales pipelines and closing large, complex deals as well as smaller dollar, high-volume sales motions.
- Experience in selling SaaS, services, and hardware products.
