Published Summary Step into a pivotal role with a premier modern media enterprise where your expertise in Oracle data development will directly impact critical business operations. We are looking for an analytical powerhouse who understands the deep intricacies of Human Capital Management and Payroll data to design, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Spend your day heavily engaged in hands-on development (approximately 90% of your time), architecting and building analytical reports and dashboards that empower stakeholders with trusted data.
  • Dive deep into complex Oracle Fusion tables to manually locate custom fields and seamlessly integrate them into the Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) semantic model without creating redundant data rows.
  • Handle light administrative duties (approximately 10% of your time), efficiently managing user security, roles, and data access for a rapidly scaling user base.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering and platform teams to design pipelines, integrate external data, and ensure the seamless delivery of actionable HR and Payroll insights.
  • Lead the charge in resolving complex customization roadblocks, designing and extending subject areas to meet highly specific, non-standard business requirements.
  • Champion the change management process, support quarterly release testing, and oversee the successful deployment of new application code.

Qualifications

  • Must-Haves:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
    • Exceptional functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll data, including employee lifecycles, compensation, absence, and complex payroll flows.
    • Proven expertise in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), focusing heavily on semantic modeling, schema design, and extending core models for analytical reporting.
    • Advanced SQL querying, debugging, and complex problem-solving skills tailored to heavily customized enterprise environments.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Direct, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) or Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
    • Familiarity with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) or Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (OBIP).
    • Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
    • Previous experience migrating, managing, or integrating third-party application data within Oracle ecosystems.
