FC Lead - Returns

About the role

Cart.com is looking for a leader to join their team, with responsibilities in inbound, outbound, returns, and/or inventory control. The successful candidate will lead the team in executing job functions correctly, meeting performance and accuracy requirements, and removing obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Lead employees in receiving product and putting it away into reserve and drop zone locations
• Lead replenishment teams in pulling and stocking product into active locations
• Run kitting teams in re-labeling, re-working, and assembling product for receipt
• Process returns per client requirements
• Meet performance and quality requirements
• Work with the management team to foster a team environment and help ensure the overall success of Cart.com
• Train and supervise employees on the shipping team
• Ensure all company house rules, safety practices, sanitation practices, and company ethics are always followed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Thorough knowledge of packing and shipping procedures
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a team
• Able to lift 35 pounds
• Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
• Ability to recognize and read location codes, date codes, and product codes

Qualifications

• 2 years of related distribution experience
• Previous warehouse lead experience

• Bilingual speaking (English/Spanish)

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.). Able to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion. Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time. Able to work overtime. Periodic exposure to heavy machinery/equipment and changing environmental conditions.
