FC Driver

About the role

We’re looking for a forklift driver responsible for the physical and electronic case movement within the four walls of the fulfillment center.

Responsibilities

• Move cases physically and electronically as required for fulfillment and general movement in facility.
• Operate an RF gun.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate power equipment: ride behind jack, sit down reach truck, or High Reach truck.
• Notify supervisor immediately when encountering any issues.
• Maintain proper safety procedures, including proper lifting and reporting any incidents and accidents within 24 hours.
• Meet accuracy goal(s) and productivity goals.
• Assist in other departments when necessary.

Requirements

• Possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-starter.
• High school graduate/GED.
• Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• 1 Year Experience driving forklift, turret truck, cherry picker.
• Previous forklift certification or hold current forklift certification (nice to have).

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.). Able to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion. Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time. Able to work overtime. Periodic exposure to heavy machinery/equipment and changing environmental conditions.
