About the role
As a General Merchandise Clerk, you will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. This entry-level position will expose you to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with customers.
- Show a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
- Help customers with any questions they may have. If you can't answer, direct them to another team member.
- Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
- Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong listening and communication skills, both face-to-face and virtually.
- Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
- Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
- Process-driven and able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.

Pay
15 hours per week, 5 shifts, 5p-10p. 3 evenings per week, core nights Sundays and Wednesdays.
