Fashion Stylist

Role Description

As a Stylist at Queen's Choice, you'll help customers find the perfect dress for one of the biggest moments in their lives. No prior styling experience is required; we'll teach you everything you need to know!

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
• Aiding customers in finding dresses that fit their style, vision, budget, and body type.
• Helping customers in and out of dresses by zipping, clipping, and adjusting gowns during their visit.
• Keeping the sales floor organized by hanging and returning dresses to their proper locations.
• Steaming gowns, light cleaning, and maintaining the appearance of the store.
• Working as part of a team to ensure every customer has an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn - no previous styling experience is necessary.
• Comfortable helping customers in fitting rooms and assisting with gowns.
• Able to stand, walk, and move dresses throughout the shift.

Weekend Availability

Weekend availability is required during our busy seasons (homecoming: July - October; prom: January - May), including WVU Football home game Saturdays.

Compensation & Growth

• Starting pay is approximately minimum wage.
• Opportunities for raises and increased responsibilities based on performance.
• Outstanding seasonal employees are often invited back for future Homecoming and Prom seasons, and even potentially other year-round positions!
