Position Summary

Supervises and develops hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigns duties; sets clear expectations; provides recognition; and promotes a belonging mindset.

What you'll do...

  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
  • Trains, teaches, and actively listens to associates.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts.
  • Communicates business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Hires, trains, mentors, and assigns duties to associates.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Reviews and evaluates P&L statements; manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintains and assists in managing merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area.
  • Respects the individual by embracing differences and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Works as a team; builds strong and trusting relationships; communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
