FASHION BUYER Part-Time

About the role

The most fun job ever! That's how employees describe being a FASHION BUYER at Uptown Cheapskate. We are a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults, carrying everything from mall to luxury brands at up to 70% off regular retail/resale prices. As a FASHION BUYER, you get first looks at new and pre-owned fashion and designer items and appraise them using our software system. We aim to make fashion more sustainable, and you play a key role in this mission.

Responsibilities

• Select and price gently-used and new clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry styles for our customers with expertise
• Must have an eye for fashion
• Able to assist with merchandising clothing throughout the store
• Absorb and assist with Luxury Authentications (training provided)
• Absorb and assist with checking in guests to sell their items
• Provide excellent customer service to sellers and buyers
• Work with the store staff to keep buys organized
• Absorb and assist with cashiering of customer transactions
• Open availability preferred! Must work WEEKENDS
• Must be a fast learner, responsible, and have excellent communication skills

Compensation

$11.00 - $14.00 per hour
