About the role
Embark, a 6X Inc 5000 fastest growing company, is seeking Advisory Senior Consultants to join our Financial Advisory practice. Reporting to the leadership of our financial advisory division, you will assist with financial reporting matters, technical accounting, analysis, M&A, or accounting function transformation, etc. in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. You'll work closely with clients and gain experience across various aspects of financial advisory, transactions, and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assist with financial reporting matters, technical accounting, analysis, M&A, or accounting function transformation, etc.
- Work closely with clients to ensure all needs are met
- Gain experience across various aspects of financial advisory, transactions, and strategy
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Big 4/public accounting/consulting and/or corporate accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Creative problem solver with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- A high sense of urgency, strong initiative, and the ability to multi-task
- Willingness to travel on-site to clients as needed
Qualifications
- Inter-company experience
- Energy (oil and gas and/or renewables) experience
- SaaS revenue recognition experience
- Healthcare (including Biotech) experience
- Financial services experience
- Government Contract experience
- SEC filing exposure/experience
Skills
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Creative problem solver with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- A high sense of urgency, strong initiative, and the ability to multi-task

Typical compensation range of $100,000- $125,000
