Farm Worker (temporary)

Duties

• Drive silage truck
• Drive tractor to plant, cultivate and harvest hay and silage crops
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
• Perform mechanical duties including but not limited to routine maintenance on equipment, oil changes, and implement repairs

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
• No experience required, will train
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Pre-employment drug testing required
• Drug testing during employment for cause
• Post-Accident Drug Testing

Qualifications

• Wage is $12.48/hr
• Raise/bonus at employer's discretion
• H-2A workers $10.64/hour

Benefits

• Subsistence reimbursement of a minimum of $16.28 per 24-hour travel period or the CONUS meal reimbursement rate $68.00 maximum when receipts are provided for travel within the United States

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, Some Saturdays
• Schedule may vary as harvest time warrants a variable schedule

Pay

• $12.48/hr
• H-2A workers $10.64/hour

Location

Work will be performed in Elberta, Utah.

Terms and Conditions of Employment

• Employees eligible for reimbursement under the program will be provided subsistence reimbursement of a minimum of $16.28 per 24-hour travel period or the CONUS meal reimbursement rate $68.00 maximum when receipts are provided for travel within the United States.
• The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage (AWER) that is issued and determined by DOL for the time period the work is performed (or whichever is the highest pay rate).
