About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with prompt, efficient service.
- Run a point-of-Sale system and make correct change.
- Give excellent customer service while carrying bags and loading customer vehicles with purchases or loading hay.
- The ability to load and unload freight from trucks, stock shelves, update prices, track inventories, retain knowledge of farm products, and help maintain a clean store.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED or enrollment in High School or a GED program is required.
- Experience in sales transactions and farm supplies product knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
- Must be able to work varying/rotating shifts and every Saturday.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about farm products.
- Good physical condition to perform the job duties.
