Powered by JazzHR" We need to extract sections: About the role (maybe introductory paragraph), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to see if any specific content for Benefits, Pay, Schedule. The description mentions "Work includes long hours, including some weekends." That's schedule info. Also mentions "Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking..." that's physical demands, maybe part of responsibilities or requirements. Also mentions conditions: temperature extremes, mud, noise, odors. That's work environment, could be part of responsibilities or maybe a separate section? But we only have allowed headings; we could put those under Responsibilities or Requirements. No explicit Benefits, Pay. So we should not create Benefits or Pay sections because no specific content. Schedule: we have mention of long hours, some weekends. That's schedule info. Could create a Schedule section with that content. Also maybe "Work is subject to tight deadlines and multitasking." That's also schedule/responsibility. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We need to preserve all substantive info. So we need to break down into logical sections. Let's craft:

About the role

The Farm Shop Mechanic supports the Logistics team by performing repairs and maintenance on equipment and vehicles, utilizing experience with electrical, motor controls, mechanical, and welding systems to ensure timely and efficient upkeep of facilities.

That seems good.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair a variety of equipment including on-site generators, small engines, tractors, wash crew equipment, and other farm machinery.

  • Inspect and upkeep facilities and equipment on a routine basis.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain company facilities and equipment, including work area and company vehicle.
  • Report to logistics manager any issues with interior or exterior facilities, including climate control, damages, pest infestation, or mishandling of birds.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, business ethics codes, and federal/state regulations.
  • Work in a culture of strong employee teams.
We also have conditions: temperature extremes, mud, noise, odors. Could be under Responsibilities as work environment or maybe a separate section like Working Conditions but not allowed. Could incorporate into Responsibilities bullet. Add bullet: "Work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat (>100°F) in summer, extreme cold (Requirements
  • Minimum one year of maintenance experience; preference for 2+ years.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • CDL license preferred but not required; if possessed, must have or be able to obtain tanker endorsement.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, grip small objects, and perform repeated actions.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods on various surfaces including concrete.
  • Working knowledge of small engines, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Working knowledge of diesel engines, including servicing and air brakes.
  • Ability to work on various brands of tractors (servicing, clutch repair, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair skid steer tracks; preference for ability to drive a skid steer.
  • Ability to weld and/or willingness to learn welding skills.
  • Understand and operate basic mechanical tools, including electrical and air tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with farm equipment.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt time and efforts to high‑priority areas, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Proven problem‑solving and change facilitation abilities.
  • Customer‑service orientation; ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, listening).

  • Ability to communicate and interact productively with all levels of employees and internal/external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Energetic, flexible, and determined.
We also have "Successful completion of a drug screen, work achievement verification and a motor vehicle driving record check are required." That could be under Requirements as bullet. Add bullet: "Must successfully complete a drug screen, work achievement verification, and motor vehicle driving record check." Also "Does not own or operate around backyard poultry, fowl, or swine operations off duty." Could be a requirement. Add bullet: "Must not own or operate around backyard poultry, fowl, or swine operations off duty." Now schedule: we have "Work includes long hours, including some weekends." Also "Work is subject to tight deadlines and multitasking." Also "The position may require Farm Shop Mechanic to be available for an extended workday." Also "Must have the ability to adapt time and efforts to high priority areas, including accommodating to various daily hours (early mornings and late evenings) and weekends, if needed." That's schedule. Thus schedule section:

Schedule

  • Long hours, including some weekends.
  • Subject to tight deadlines and multitasking.
  • May require extended workday and availability for early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.
We could also mention "Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and the use of numerous tools." That's more physical demand, maybe under Requirements. Add bullet under Requirements: "Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of numerous tools." Now we have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Schedule. No Benefits, Pay, Qualifications (maybe we could combine Qualifications with Requirements but we have Requirements already). The instruction says use headings for Qualifications if there is content. We have qualifications covered in Requirements; we could rename Requirements to Qualifications? But we need to follow typical headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can choose to use Requirements and Qualifications both if we have distinct content. But we might just use Requirements and maybe Skills separate. We have many skill bullets; we could create a Skills section for technical skills: welding, electrical, motor controls, mechanical, small engines, diesel
