Farm & Retail Donations Specialist

About the role

The Farm & Retail Donations Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining food donation partnerships in the Delta region, focusing on local farmers and retail partners. This position also supports daily operations at the Delta location, including receiving product and coordinating logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, retail stores, and other donors
• Identify opportunities to increase donation volume and frequency
• Cook up and coordinate farm and retail donations, including scheduling and logistics
• Receive and document incoming shipments at the Delta location
• Aid with daily operations and coordinate with Warehouse and Transportation teams
• Track donation activity and maintain donor records
• Represent the Foodbank at community events and donor visits
• Collaborate with internal teams and attend required meetings
• Occasionally travel within the Delta region and work evenings or weekends as needed

Requirements

• Associate degree, preferably in Business or a related field, with 2 years of experience in purchasing, donor relations, or related field
• Valid Arkansas driver’s license and proof of insurance required

Qualifications

• Skilled in computer operations and software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Pass a background check and preemployment drug screening
