About the role
Name of Ranch/Business: Shockey Farms
Location: Rossville, Tennessee
Key Responsibilities
- Daily care of livestock (approximately 2800 head) including the herd’s health.
- Making sure pastures are of good quality and following the grazing schedule.
- Developing and managing a herd mating schedule.
- Maintaining repairs around the farm.
- Operating and performing basic repairs on farm equipment.
- Managing 2-4 work hands.
- The farm acreage is approximately 4,000 – 5,000 acres.
