About the role
The Farm Equipment Operator works in the farming department operating various farm equipment, with seasonal and workload fluctuations.
Core Responsibilities
- Operates various farm equipment for tilling, planting and cultivating.
- Work practices must emphasize safety, efficiency, and thoroughness.
- Understand and comply with company EMS policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties.
- Follow all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy-Brown LLC subscribes.
- Report all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
- Work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, CDL preferred.
- Ability to operate various farm equipment for tilling, planting and cultivating.
- Willing to learn how to operate multiple types of farm equipment.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Pay
$16.20 hourly
Schedule
Work schedule includes early start; often days are longer than 8 hours.
