About the Role

Are you passionate about horses and looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic, team-oriented environment? Old South Carriage Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Farm Crew! As part of our team, you'll play a key role in operations by maintaining the health and well-being of our draft horses and additionally transporting them between our scenic 110 acre Farm on Johns Island and the historic stables in downtown Charleston.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport horses between our 110-acre farm on Johns Island and our downtown Charleston stables
• Maintain and manage our three barns, ensuring a clean and organized environment
• Feed, water, and care for our herd, including administering basic healthcare and medications
• Groom horses, clean stalls, and prepare draft horses for tours
• Assist with daily farm operations, facility maintenance, and small projects
• Ensure the overall well-being of our herd while upholding our company's commitment to excellence

Requirements

• Confidence and experience in caring for draft horses
• Experience in driving a truck and trailer and the ability to transport horses safely
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Open availability (7 days a week, between 6 AM - 10 PM)
• A valid driver's license with clean driving record
• A professional and hospitable attitude

Benefits
