Initial Consultation
The Interior Design Initial Consultation includes up to 90 minutes of Meredith’s time at your home (or via Teams if you prefer) to discuss your interior design project. Fresh perspectives and extensive experience allow for innovative solutions and new ways of looking at your space that you may not have considered. The appointment typically covers multiple rooms and topics.
- Improving room layout or use
- Discussing floorplan enhancements
- Creating a priority plan for renovations, including a general budget and timeline
- Paint colors and window furnishings
- Assisting with final selections for kitchens, bathrooms, or other samples
You may book an Initial Consultation without committing to further work. It provides enough detail to receive a tailored quote for additional services if desired. Appointments are generally available with 2-3 weeks' notice, though sooner options may be possible.
Next Steps
After the Initial Consultation, if you choose to proceed, Meredith will provide a project-specific quote. Upon acceptance, the design phase begins.

Suppliers and Furnishings
We work with a trusted network of suppliers selected for quality, pricing, design, availability, and customer care. Some are trade-only or wholesalers, while others are retailers. You may nominate preferred suppliers, though this may impact design or delivery options.
Discounts off RRP are often available for specified furniture and furnishings, noted in Concept Designs alongside retail pricing. This can help offset design fees. Purchasing through us is optional—you may source items independently or use our specifications to find alternatives. Most clients prefer our streamlined ordering process and potential discounts.
Trades and Remote Oversight
We can recommend trusted tradespeople for your project. For clients overseas or interstate, we regularly oversee Melbourne renovations, including coordinating quotes, managing trades, ensuring deliveries, and final styling.
