About the role

Responsibilities
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products.
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.
- Serves as best practice/quality resource.
- Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
- Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
- Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
- Develops persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Established project management skills
- Structures manufacturing support experience
- Fundamental analysis, including: hand calculations (stress analysis and 1D heat transfer), familiarity with FEA, familiarity with life analyses, familiarity with crack growth calculations, familiarity with bolted joint calculations, familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, experience creating or revising engineering drawings, experience with Weibull analyses, experience working with manufacturing to optimize producibility for a design.

Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $149,500.00 - $198,950.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
