About the role
To assist case management staff in providing safety, well-being and permanency for children served by this agency.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Absorb and assemble admission packets, placement slips, placement tracking forms, basic service referrals, obtain documents from Vital Statistics/Health Department/police departments, take photographs of children, type home studies for case managers etc).
- Provide and/or arrange for transportation of children to visits, court, etc.
- Monitor supervised visits and completes a report of their observations in FSFN.
- Serve as a supervisor in the absence of a case manager.
- Provide appropriate modeling techniques, education and other supportive services delineated in the case plan.
- Participate in weekly unit staff meetings.
- Provide on-call support as requested.

Education Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Licenses and Certifications
- Possess a current Background Clearance Screening Letter as required by DCF; and successfully complete the background screening requirements for Community Partnership for Children.
- If local travel is required, a Valid Florida driver’s license and documentation of current automobile insurance, with $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability limit, is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Employee will work in an office/clerical environment.
- The employee will work predominantly seated with recurrent need to walk, stand, and bend from the waist.
- Occasional light lifting, stooping, and climbing may be required.
