Role and Facility Information
The clinic is equipped with an advanced Electronic Medical Record system and has efficient support staff. The new clinic space is located next to Peace Arch Hospital, offering a modern and convenient setting with state-of-the-art equipment. The incoming family physician will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to the local community.
You will be part of the Primary Care Network (PCN), collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and mental health clinicians. There is also a teaching opportunity through the partnership with Simon Fraser University School of Medicine, where you can engage in the education of medical students and residents.
The community offers a variety of recreational activities such as cycling, forest walks, and water sports at both White Rock and Crescent Beach. The location is close to the US border and within a 45-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, providing easy access to both urban and coastal environments.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation is fee-for-service, with an 80/20 billing split. Other benefits include:
