Role and Facility Information

The clinic is equipped with an advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and has efficient support staff. The new clinic space is located right next to Peace Arch Hospital, offering a modern and convenient setting with state-of-the-art equipment. The incoming family physician will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to the local community, working within a Primary Care Network (PCN) that includes nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and mental health clinicians. There is also a teaching opportunity, with WRSS (White Rock South Surrey) partnering with the SFU School of Medicine, where the incoming physician can engage in the education of medical students and residents.

The community is known for its scenic beauty, with a variety of recreational activities such as cycling, forest walks, and water sports at both White Rock and Crescent Beach. The area is also close to both the U.S. border and downtown Vancouver, facilitating easy access.

Compensation

Compensation is offered on a fee-for-service basis with an 80/20 billing split. Other benefits include free parking, membership in the Division and PCN, a newly renovated clinic space in a new building, a lunch room, and strong management support.
