Role and Facility Information
The Lower Columbia Community Health Centre (LCCHC) in Trail, British Columbia, is recruiting a family physician for a longitudinal primary care role. The position is part-time (0.5 FTE) with the option to explore practice sharing models and potentially engage in hospital-based work or expanded scopes in maternity, addictions, and mental health care.

Physician Payment Model
The physician payment model is the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP). Overhead is paid at an hourly rate of $44.65 per hour.

Qualifications
Prior to the start date, applicants must hold certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent and be eligible for licensure with the CPSBC. ACLS is required for those involved in hospital-based roles.
Compensation
Estimated Remuneration: $400,000
- Administrative Contract:
- Overhead is paid at an hourly rate of $44.65 per hour
- Vacation Leave: 10 weeks/year with coverage provided
- Retirement Premium: 11.48%
- Retention Flat Fee: $17,791
- Relocation Funding: $9,000 to $15,000
- Recruitment Incentive: $15,000
- Rural CME Funding: up to $5720.00 per year after 4 years in practice (prorated for years 1, 2 & 3)
