Role and Facility Information
A Family Practitioner position is available at Alouette Correctional Centre for Women in Maple Ridge, BC, offering 2 clinics per week.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Family Practitioner to help improve access to primary health care and mental health and substance use support for clients in correctional centers. This role involves working alongside an inter-professional team to provide quality care and support for clients.
Qualifications
- Eligible for provisional or full licensure with CPSBC
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians, or equivalent, is mandatory
- Experience in working with patients across a broad spectrum of psychiatric illness, substance use disorders, and personality difficulties
- Experience in Correctional Health
- Additional Certification or Training
What you bring
The ideal candidate should have:
